Calming Anxiety
November 21, 2009 – 10:57 pmClearly the stock market has been going crazy the last few weeks, and with anxiety (for me at least) comes the desire to eat in a less healthy. I’ve found that I need to identify other ways to relieve my anxiety.
Below are the things that have been working, more or less, for me:
- working out. The more physically tired I am, especially at night, the better I sleep and the better my resolve.
- talking with my wife. Always seems to narrow my focus to what’s important
- learn something new. Read a book, check out a new DIY website, etc. New hobbies are a great distraction.
